Welcome to the "Starcraft - Zerg" page. Here's some information for the Zerg Race.
Zerg
This race is quick to produce cheap priced units very fast. Their attack if fairly decent but has low healthed units. Able to produce an entire army in seconds, and has the ability to heal back to full health over time.
Land Forces
Drone - The equivalent of a Terran SCV and a Protoss Probe, these mindless beings gather resources, gas, and morphs into any structure.
Zergling - The basic unit of the Zerg race. It can kill dragoons, destroy bases, and armies when fully upgraded. Comes two to an egg. Ground attack only.
Hydralisk - Perhaps the most useful ground attack the zerg has to offer. These animals can spew off poisonous chemicals at air or ground units, badly damaging anyone who gets in their way.
Lurker - Forms from a hydralisk. It can shoot spines at enemy underground, and will continue doing so until detected. Great for defense and blocking off certain parts of the map. Ground attack only.
Defiler - This useful unit has spells. It can cast a defence cloud that will make anyone standing in it nearly invinsible. It can also cast this poison that will quickly take off health from buildings and units. Great with zerglings.
Ultralisk - The largest and most powerful ground unit. With a whoppin' 400 health points, it can take quite a bit of damage, and even more when upgraded.
Air Forces
Mutalisk - The basic air unit capable of morphing into more powerful creatures. Attacks both ground and air units with great speed but not much damage.
Guardian - An evolved form of the mutalisk, it attacks ground units only at long range. Great when paired up with mutalisks and devourers for air support.
Devourer - Yet another evolved from of the mutalisk, it attacks air only with this gooey spore stuff, which makes the enemy's shield weaker. Paired with the mutalisk which has the splash attack, it can send enemies down in no (well, some) time.
Scourge - These little guys are usd by the swarm to intercept and destroy any attacking air units. Great when placed at the side of your base and at your minerals incase of droppers.
Queen - The Queen can be used for many things. It can be used to make opposing units in to little broodlings, a weaker version of a zergling, or it can cast a spell on another unit so that it can see all that that unti can see.
Overlord - The supply, transporter, and detection of the Zerg race. Great in early game scouting, and cheaper than the shuttle and dropship for droppings.
